We serve organic and free range food, as available.

Breakfast - hearty South African or Continental - is served in the dining area or on the patio overlooking the wetland and pool, or on your balcony, should you so prefer.

Home-cooked dinners are available on request.  In true Karoo tradition, guests can choose from dishes such as Karoo leg of lamb served with old-fashioned green beans, sweet potatoes and 'yellow' rice; a braai (steak, lamb chops and boerewors) accompanied by Ouma Stienie's green tomato pickles; boontjiebredie (green bean stew); waterblommetjiebredie (when in season) or a traditional oxtail dish. We have also learnt to prepare delicious fish on the flames.
